I'll be 29 next weekend. I'm a young professional, with an advanced degree. I am a transplant to the area originally from out East NY to DC to LA to CO to LA to NY to LA to WI to CA to WI. So, as you can tell by where I come from a lot of this has to do with 7 years of schooling that I love to travel ha ha. I have been all over the Caribbean to Mexico I'm part Canuck, so spent a little time up there when I was younger all over the U.S. Rome and Florence, Italy Nice, Arles, AixenProvence, and Paris, France. I would love to visit my friend in Germany next. My other biggest love is the Arts. Music, film, art, theatre, dance. I'm pretty big into Indie Pop/Rock/Folk right now. I'm also big into Indie and Foreign Films. However, I listen and watch other things as well. I just finished watching Please Give. I thought it was pretty good. I enjoy films where there is some grit to it some real life. I also enjoy films that have dark humor. I felt this film had a little bit of both. It had some humor, but a lot of honesty too. I can't wait for Meet the Rileys and Black Swan to hit theaters around here. Meet the Rileys is already out, but I haven't seen it posted for Eau Claire, so it might be yet another wait until it comes onto DVD. However, I am pretty sure Black Swan will come around here. At least, I think it will since the director is the same that did The Wrestler, which received much acclaim during the 2009 awards season. The last concert I went to was 2 weekends ago in Madison. I went down to do some volunteer/ pro bono work that Saturday, and luckily saw a poster for Phantogram. Saw them at the High Noon Saloon. That was the first time I saw a show in Madtown. I usually hit up the Cities. However, it was a great show and a great venue, so wouldn't be opposed to driving that direction for a show in the future. Although, I am still a big fan of First Ave in Minneapolis. One of my favorite venues. I am a single mom to a beautiful 14 month old girl. Not looking
