Hello Ladies. Being a single attractive man, I have had occasion to browse the chirrup personals in search Miss Right. As she doesnt seem to be anywhere I can find. In doing so, I have noticed a great many odd things in ads you lovely women have placed. Things that are GUARANTEED TO KEEP A MAN FROM CONTACTING YOU. So, I offer this advice to help. 1. Have enough courage to ad a photograph. Not a photograph of a sunset, a cartoon, a romantic illustration, or your dog, but an actual, recent picture of you. Placing a picture other than a picture of yourself so that your ad is read is perceived as deceptive, and it is frustrating to the discerning man. A man is less likely to respond to your ad if he feels like you have already tricked him. 2. Make sure the picture of your entire form, not just your face. Sometimes this is difficult to do, so try to get at least from the waist up. By placing close up pictures of your face, a man is forced to assume that you probably trying to hide the fact that you are fat. Its ok if youre fat, most of us are. Just be honest about it. Also, try to get an action shot of you doing something besides standing in the bathroom, guys want to know you are active. And dont include pictures of your children, there are allot of pervs out there. 3. We all know that you want to walk on the beach. Every ad/profile placed by a woman over 25 tells us that your idea of romance is to walk on the beach. You would think that the beach would be full of men and women walking up and down the beach having the romantic times of theyre lives 24 hours a day. Theyre not. Its just not that great. Dont be a shallow cliche. Get over it and say something original. 4. We are very aware that you do not want to play GAMES! It took me a while to figure out what you ladies meant by this. When your say NO GAMES! in your ad, it alerts men too the fact that you have been dating awhile, made mistakes in your choice of men, and that you carry that baggage with you. A
